Entrepreneurs and small business owners have an opportunity to “Learn from the Experts” at the Volusia Business Resources (VBR) Funding Readiness Workshop being held at the Brannon Center on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Volusia County Division of Economic Development is hosting the event to arm attendees with tools and knowledge that they’ll need to secure critical funding for their business venture.
The workshop will feature lenders, financial professionals and small business consultants who will share expertise and insights to help small businesses navigate the complex lending process. Attendees will learn:
- what lenders and investors expect before applying for funds
- determine where pre-application work is required
- how to organize their financials
- to identify the funding options that best suit their business needs
Al Perkinson, CEO of BAJIO Sunglasses, will be the event’s featured speaker. Attendees will have the opportunity to have lunch with Perkinson as he tells the story of how he built a sunglass empire.
Volusia Business Resources Funding Readiness 2025 is an event designed to help your business be ready for business funding. The workshop is free to attend and includes lunch with the keynote.
