The Business Model Canvas by Strategyzer is a strategic management tool used to describe, design, challenge, and pivot business models. It is divided into nine key building blocks, each covering a different aspect of the business. Here’s a brief overview of each topic:

  1. Customer Segments:
    • Defines the different groups of people or organizations that a business aims to reach and serve.
    • Includes demographic, geographic, and psychographic profiles.
  2. Value Propositions:
    • Describes the bundle of products and services that create value for a specific customer segment.
    • Focuses on solving customer problems or fulfilling their needs.
  3. Channels:
    • Outlines how a company communicates with and reaches its customer segments to deliver the value proposition.
    • Includes distribution channels, sales channels, and communication channels.
  4. Customer Relationships:
    • Details the types of relationships a company establishes with its customer segments.
    • Includes personalized service, self-service, automated service, and community engagement.
  5. Revenue Streams:
    • Identifies how a company generates income from each customer segment.
    • Covers various revenue models such as direct sales, subscription fees, licensing, and advertising.
  6. Key Resources:
    • Describes the most important assets required to make the business model work.
    • Includes physical, intellectual, human, and financial resources.
  7. Key Activities:
    • Outlines the most important actions a company must take to operate successfully.
    • Includes production, problem-solving, and platform/network activities.
  8. Key Partnerships:
    • Details the network of suppliers and partners that help the business model work.
    • Can include strategic alliances, joint ventures, and buyer-supplier relationships.
  9. Cost Structure:
    • Describes all costs incurred to operate a business model.
    • Includes fixed and variable costs, economies of scale, and cost drivers.

By analyzing these components, businesses can gain a comprehensive view of their business model and make informed strategic decisions.

This program will held over (3) consecutive Fridays starting on May 16, followed by May 23, and ending on May 30, 2025.
