The Volusia Innovation Challenge offers aspiring entrepreneurs, innovators, and small business owners a chance to validate their product concepts through a pitch competition and compete for cash and in-kind prizes to launch or scale up their ventures.
Cast your vote for this year’s “People’s Choice” for one of the many creators and entrepreneurs exhibiting at the event’s Innovation Showcase.
Watch the finalists pitch their innovative business concept or idea to a panel of judges. Each finalist will have five minutes to explain their concept and judges will consider the following to determine the winner:
- Market Viability
- Innovation and Differentiation
- Feasibility
- Financial Viability
Prizes awarded:
- First place: $10,000
- Second place: $5,000
- People’s Choice (showcase favorite): $2,000 (Awarded by the audience. 1st and 2nd place prize winners are not eligible.)
This is a prime opportunity for you to interact with the next generation of innovators and learn more about their business product. Enjoy an evening of innovation, networking and discovery. Beverages and light Hors d’oeuvres will be served.
Registration for the event will open in February 2026.

- Is this event free to attend?
Yes, the event is open to the public and registration is required to obtain free parking. -
Where is parking available?
Free Parking is provided in either the West or South parking lots. You must register online and show your event ticket to parking attendants to obtain free parking for the event. If you do not have your ticket, you will be responsible for any parking fees.
