SUMMARY:Manufacturing & Technology Day
DESCRIPTION:The Daytona Regional Chamber\, Volusia Manufacturers’ Association and the Southeast Volusia Manufacturing & Technology Coalition\, are proud to collaborate on Manufacturing & Technology Day presented by Germfree. This program is designed to strengthen the talent pipeline across the region in the manufacturing and technology sectors for both current and future needs. \nStudent Career Immersion Program: 10am-1pm \nCollaborating with Volusia County Schools\, students from across the region will participate in a career immersion event from 10am – 1pm. These future members of the workforce will have the chance to explore career paths with companies right here in our community\, hear from industry leaders who will describe the opportunities available\, and visit one of our local manufacturing sites to see the operation in action. \nAdult Job Fair: 2:30-5:30pm \nJoining forces with CareerSource Brevard Flagler Volusia\, these same organizations will hold a job fair from 2:30pm – 5:30pm to fill immediate and near future needs by connecting with current jobseekers.
